A portrait of the artist with skateboard and baby

From the Eyes of Cain - Variances - Album Cover

Just did this album cover for From the Eyes of Cain.

And I Float Away…

This is sort of a response to some health problems I was having over spring and early summer this year.
After a long flight, I had chronic dizziness for over a month so I went in to see my doctor. After a few visits, they found an unrelated issue. I had been having terrible back pain during the night, and was ignoring it as untreatable back pain. Turns out that I have been living with and inflamed and clogged gall bladder for over two years. I had surgery to have my gall bladder removed in July, and my health is so much better now for it. 120% of what I used to be.

I was working on this piece throughout this whole ordeal, and I hope that some of that shows though, albeit symbolically.

Buffalo Girl

Did this for a Denver-based youth and women’s group called PRAXUS, that focuses mostly on anti-human trafficking work. They needed a shirt design, but wanted something outside the realm of a simple logo. I wanted to do something that showcased a powerful warrior-type woman without being too overtly sexual. Hopefully this works for them, and a simplified version will be going on tee shirts in the near future.

Until then, this is available as a giclee print over at my store.
